Birth of a Hospital
An empty lot, bordered by a ring road and the Boulevard Sérurier at the Porte du Pré-Saint-Gervais in Paris: this is the site on which the government decided to construct a large hospital for children. Pierre Riboulet's project met with unanimous approval. For five months, from May to October 1980, the architect kept a daily journal.
