Resource Guide Contents

The Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) has been used for both the French translations of the program text (available with the printed Resource Guide) and for a down-loadable version of the printed Resource Guide, which is available from this CD-ROM. This has been provided so that CD-ROM users may see what the printed version looks like. To view the on-line PDF files, you will need the Adobe Acrobat reader. If you do not have this file, please run the setup program from the CD-ROM's root directory.

The PDF version of the Resource Guide has been created as a number of small files. Each section is a separate file, as are the Resource Guide cover, the contents pages, the introduction, the indexes and the key to the collection pages. Each part of the Resource Guide in this format may also be printed out and used for future reference.

The printed version of the Resource Guide may be ordered from The Roland Collection.

The French translation of the program text is supplied on 2 diskettes (either as PC or Apple Mac format). One diskette contains a French language version of the Acrobat Reader which is needed to view the PDF file on the second diskette, francais.pdf. This file contains the French translations for all the art programs in Sections 1 - 37 and the Modern Literature Sections. In addition, there are French translations for the Series texts and the introductory pages containing information about the Roland Collection. All of the translated texts appear on the same page numbers as the printed catalogue.
