Help On General Search

The search facility on this CD-ROM offers 3 different criteria to search from:

Art Discipline - which categorises the programs according to the type of art covered (e.g. painting, sculpture, etc.)

Period of Art and Architecture - all the programs have information about the specific period covered and so all programs which contain material within two specified dates can be selected. Programs which also cover part (but not the whole) of a specified period are also included in the search results.

Age Range - refers to the age range suitability of the programs to the viewing audience which is of particular importance to educational establishments and parents. To restrict your search to programs suitable for a particular audience, select the target age from the range available. All programs where this age falls into the viewing age range will be selected.


From the above citeria you have to choose two in combination which each other. If you choose one criteria, i.e. Art Discipline "Painting", you must click on a second choice from different criteria, i.e. Age Range "Adult", to receive a result.
