Help on Contents

The Roland Resource guide is divided into 2 parts for the programs on Art, with a third part for Modern Literature. The first part orders the videos and films chronologically (art historical order), whilst the second part presents the programs by subject classification. Consequently, there are 2 separate Art Contents pages.

Art Historical Chronological Contents - lists the first 23 sections of the resource guide where these sections are ordered chronologically according the period of art covered. Each section title links to an introduction page which lists the programs in that section and contains information about the series. Each of the program titles links to an individual program page containing a detailed description about the film/video, production details such as the running time, recommended audience age range, director, narrator, composer, other optional languages the program is available in and also prices and availability.

Art Subject Contents - lists the sections 24 - 37 of the resource guide where these sections are ordered by art subject. As for the first 23 sections, each title links to an introduction page which lists the programs in that section and contains information about the series. Each of the program titles links to an individual program page containing a detailed description about the film/video, production details such as the running time, recommended audience age range director, narrator, other optional languages the program is available in and also prices and availability.

Modern Literature Contents - this is a list of all the videos available in this section. Each title links to an individual page which contains more detailed information about the program.

Art and Architecture Series Contents - a number of the programs featured in the Roland Collection are also available as series, and this page lists the series titles. Each series title links to a series introduction page which contains a list of the programs available in the series with further information about the series. Each program title links to a page containing a description and other information about the program. Three additional links to profiles of three key producers appear on this page as follows:
