An exploration of the fascinating and complex decorative scheme painted by Giusto de Menabuoi, which fills the interior of the public baptistery commandeered to act as a family funerary chapel by Fina Buzzacarina, consort of Francesco da Carrara, Lord of Padua. This rare commission by a woman patron ingeniously reflects the dual role of the building. Part of the series 'Art, Society and Religion in Siena, Florence and Padua, 1280-1400'
